Future-oriented architecture combined with modern technology characterizes this building from the Landbauer MOD series “Modern Architecture in Agriculture”. The hay and straw are pressed into two special air pressure storage chambers with 20 bar air pressure. The inside consists of the hardwoods robinia (acacia) and oak. The core temperature of the hay chamber is kept at a constant 18° C using a computer-controlled infrared temperature sensor system, regardless of external conditions. Manual and automatic lighting as well as a small silo terminal with display are available. The system is completely self-sufficient thanks to an integrated solar system.
